The Akshaya Foundation is an NGO, located in Gangavaram in Gurazala, a backward and barren region in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Smt.Gundala Naga Malleswari is its founder. In the local area, she is called the Mother Teresa of Gurazala. Our organization endeavors to care for the poor
abandoned aged parents, to provide educational scholarships to the poor and deserving students so that they could pursue their studies and launch eco-friendly activities to preserve, protect and promote the well-being of the environment.
Since 2007, the Akshaya Foundation has been involved in sheltering and providing food and medicine for the poor abandoned aged parents, arranging free medical camps for the poor rural people,
providing drinking water and buttermilk during summers, creating rain-harvesting pits to conserve water, distributing saplings for afforestation, providing shelter and water for birds in the ashramam, etc.
We are very proud to say that it is the local people who are our partners as they help us to do all these activities through their generous donations and their enthusiastic participation in these activities.
